Structured reading protocols: Round-robin reading in groups of four keeps all students engaged. Pausing after each paragraph for comprehension checks ensures understanding before moving forward.

Vocabulary recycling: The same vocabulary appears in multiple formats: Blooket games, cloze activities, EdPuzzle videos, and graphic organizers. This repetition builds retention without feeling redundant.

The Payoff
